Wayna Picchu is another set up ruins located on the mountain top, overlooking Machu Picchu. After climbing up the a narrow path where one misstep would cause me to plunge 2,000 feet into the Urubamba river below and after climbing 500 year old precarious stone steps, I reached the top. From here I had a beautiful view of Machu Picchu, the surrounding jungle, as well as the narrow switchback road I had initially come up.
